Learn more about our history in Malaysia
We've been part of Malaysian life since 1959 — over six decades of sharing snacks, growing alongside the nation, and earning a place in Malaysian homes. Our story in Malaysia began as part of Kraft Foods. Then in 2010, Kraft Foods acquired Cadbury, bringing together two powerhouse portfolios of snacks and confectionery. This transformation culminated in the creation of Mondelēz International in 2012. Today, our brands are part of everyday Malaysian moments — from simple family tea-times to joyful festive celebrations. With manufacturing facilities in Shah Alam and Prai, Malaysia serves as a key hub for both production and product development, supplying high-quality, Halal-certified chocolates and biscuits to markets across Southeast Asia and beyond.
